Alyona is an experienced Yoga, Meditation, and Tantra teacher who has been guiding students through transformational practices since 2006. With a unique background that bridges traditional yogic wisdom, modern therapeutic understanding, and integrative psychology, she creates deeply supportive and holistic experiences that nurture healing, self-awareness, and embodied transformation.

Before dedicating herself fully to yoga, Alyona worked as a physician in a rehabilitation center, where she developed a strong understanding of the body, nervous system, recovery, and integrative wellbeing. She later expanded her work into integrative psychology and therapeutic yoga education, combining Eastern and Western approaches to healing and personal growth.

Her studies led her to India, where she trained in authentic yogic traditions with respected teachers including Desikachar of the Krishnamacharya lineage in Chennai, Sheshadri of the Mysore school of Krishnamacharya, and Madhavan of the Sivananda tradition in Tamil Nadu. She also continued her education with modern yoga educators M. Baranov and I. Zhuravlev in Russia, integrating both classical and contemporary methodologies into her teaching.

Since 2016, Alyona has served as the founder and methodology creator of Shanti Yoga Studio in Ukraine and as an educator within the Shanti Training School of Yoga Therapy. Over the last decade, she has facilitated yoga teacher trainings, retreats, workshops, and masterclasses throughout Indonesia, Europe, and India, sharing practices rooted in mindfulness, therapeutic movement, meditation, breathwork, tantra, and embodied awareness.

At East+West Yoga, Alyona guides students through meditation, yoga therapy, tantra-inspired practices, pranayama, and embodied yoga experiences within the school’s immersive Yoga Alliance certified teacher trainings and retreats. Akshay began his yoga journey studying at Gurukula, a traditional Vedic yoga education school rooted in the ancient teachings of India. Through years of dedicated practice and study, he immersed himself in the classical foundations of yoga, including the Yoga Sutras, Vedic mantras, pranayama, meditation, and traditional Hatha Yoga practices.

He later earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Yogic Sciences, deepening his understanding of the philosophical, energetic, and therapeutic dimensions of yoga. His teaching style bridges authentic Eastern yogic wisdom with an approachable and embodied methodology that supports students from all backgrounds and experience levels.

Yoga has profoundly transformed Akshay physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, inspiring him to share these practices with the intention of helping students cultivate greater awareness, balance, healing, and connection both on and off the mat.

At East+West Yoga, Akshay teaches classical Hatha Yoga, pranayama, meditation, embodied yoga flows, and yogic philosophy within the school’s immersive Yoga Alliance certified teacher trainings in Bali and Costa Rica. Vijeth was born into a family deeply rooted in the traditions of Yoga and Vedanta, where the philosophy and practices of yoga were woven naturally into everyday life from the very beginning. Growing up surrounded by these teachings, he developed an early connection to the deeper spiritual and philosophical dimensions of yoga.

At a young age, Vijeth was introduced to the revered yogi Sri Niranjana Saraswati, whose presence and humility left a profound impact on him and planted the seeds for a lifelong path in yoga. Inspired by his family and guided by his sister, he later became a dedicated student of BNS Iyengar in Mysore, immersing himself in the traditional practice of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga.

His devotion to yoga eventually led him to pursue postgraduate studies in Yogic Sciences and Human Consciousness at Mangalore University, where he deepened his understanding of yogic philosophy, consciousness studies, meditation, and traditional yogic practices.

Over the last decade, Vijeth has taught yoga internationally across a wide range of trainings, retreats, and educational programs, working with students of all backgrounds and experience levels. Through years of teaching and personal practice, he has come to understand that every individual requires unique guidance, attention, and support in order to truly grow and flourish through yoga.

At East+West Yoga, Vijeth teaches Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, yogic philosophy, meditation, and traditional yoga practices within immersive Yoga Alliance certified teacher trainings and retreats. His teaching style combines depth, humility, technical precision, and compassionate guidance, encouraging students to explore yoga as both a disciplined practice and a transformative path toward greater awareness and self-understanding.
