SPECIFIC GOALS OF OUR TEACHER TRAINING:
1. LIFELONG INSPIRATION FOR PRACTICE
A daily, personal practice is the foundation for all growth on the path of yoga. Before learning to teach, students must develop this desire and discipline to maintain some form of daily practice. We focus on inspiring a deep love of yoga within students in the training so the daily practice becomes a love-affair rather than a forced discipline.
2. CONFIDENCE IN TEACHING
Part of the process of becoming a teacher it leaning into the initial fear of sharing. This is very common, and it should not remain a barrier to embarking on the path of teaching yoga. While we cannot guarantee every student a successful teaching career, we focus on empowering and building confidence for new teachers.
3. DEVELOPING A YOGIC LIFESTYLE
The ancient yogi’s developed specific lifestyle guidelines that influence the life in very subtle ways. We feel these are absolutely essential for students to adhere to, at least on a basic level. These include: avoiding meat consumption, avoiding drugs, and avoiding doing harm to others. While it’s not necessary to be perfect in all areas of the yogic lifestyle, we focus on inspiring students to adopt these principles of living to benefit their own life.

Meditation & Philosophy
At the age of 7 years, I was sent to a monastery by my parents where I lived for the next 12 years. During my study years in monastery, I learnt different philosophies about life by the ancient Indian sages. This pious learning at an early age laid a strong spiritual foundation in my nature. At the monastery, I also came to learn about ancient meditation techniques through my master. After my monastery education, I went to University and took my diploma in Computer Science and started a career as web designer. In 2008, after working in the IT industry for 5 years, I decided to quit and follow the path I knew I was born for. I share my understanding in the teachings of Traditional Hatha Yoga, Philosophies, Pranayama, Meditations and various Cleansing Processes. I believe Yoga surely helps to stay relaxed in any degree of situational and emotional intensity. I like to teach and practice the traditional style of Hatha Yoga with Slow and Graceful movements of body and breath, between two postures. This way of Yoga Asana practice had been developed and suggested by ancient Mystics of India, as a helpful tool for humanity of all ages of time, for transforming all kinds of divisions created by human consciousness. I was born and raised in Paraguay by a very executive, feminist, spiritual single mother and a simple, humble grandmother. Drawn by my child curiosity and the urge to express all my feelings my whole upbringing was a mix of outdoors adventures, trying all types of sports and experiencing art in dancing, acting and painting. I decided to let go of my whole “life plan” and went to live for 6 months in a Meditation Center in Uruguay. After studying for some semesters Interior Design and Advertisement, in 2013 I began teaching this meditation technique in jails, companies, orphanages, and to all types of people. My other passion is the entertainment industry. I became Miss Paraguay 2011-12 and got to travel around the world representing my country. I’m a model, a very healthy one now, and a TV host. Two years ago I moved to Los Angeles to study acting and become an actress. Contact me: email@example.com

I am a yogi & entreprenuer in Los Angeles, California. I've founded multiple successful technology companies in food and healthcare, but yoga is my real passion. In 2014 I traveled to northern India to do my yoga teacher training, where I met Gurumukh. He profoundly changed my life, and we decided together to start the East/West Yoga School to bring the teachings of enlightened masters to the world. Contact me: email@example.com
Our philosophy is simple: yoga’s purpose is to enhance our direct experience with life. Thus it needs to be learned by experiencing it for yourself. While they are rooted in traditional yogic philosophy, our trainings tend to be less textbook heavy and more experiential. Why read about the purposes of meditation when you could feel them for yourself? We feel this approach is the true foundation for a world-class teacher. Our teacher trainings immerse students with these empowering experiences so they begin developing confidence sharing them with others.

“So…My experience with Gurumukh and Deep has been nothing short of profound and absolutely filled with love. I feel so blessed to have come across the training I did with them and fter studying with several different teachers around India & the world, I realize my standards are so high because of my experience with them that nobody else has really come close to. I am completing my 300-hour training in India right now, with teachers who are knowledgeable, but nowhere near as much as GuruMukh and Deep. They speak a language of love, which is what yoga truly is, the union of everything. Even if you are only interested in Asana, Deep still answers all of my technical questions a year and a half later. Gurumukh is one of the only people I know that is teaching yoga by living it, many teachers can read you the scriptures and define Sanskrit words, but to be able to take these teachings and use them in the present moment so students of any level can understand, with a profound sense of compassion, is really something special that I haven’t come across again in my yoga journey.”
