It’s anatomy + biomechanics week at the 200 hour YTT! . “Enjoy your body. Use it every way you can. Don’t be afraid of it, or what other people think of it. It’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever own.” /Baz Luhrmann . Rocky has an great way of making anatomy and biomechanics so much more than just an objective study of the human body and the way forces are generated by and distributed into the body as we move. By applying anatomical teachings into physical movement, students can grasp and absorb the information on a deeper level, by actually feeling it in their own bodies. . From lying to rolling to belly-crawling to all-fours crawling to standing to walking, our physical bodies take a fascinating journey from the day we are born. All the pieces within; our bones, muscles, ligaments + overall shape as well as our physical abilities and resilience are informed and impacted by the actions we take + daily choices we make. Our body is constantly responding and adjusting to better accustom itself to the life we choice to live. (So chose wisely 😉 – and enjoy the beautiful tool you’ve been given. . If you are a yoga teacher (or even if you aren’t) wishing to deepen your knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics, I HIGHLY recommend taking a course with Rocky. His in-depth knowledge stems from his own burning passion, curiosity and sheer will to dive as deep into the subject matter as possible. . ✌❤ /Nora . . #anatomyweek #yoganatomy #yogateachertraining #berlinyoga #enjoyyourbody #useiteverywayyoucan #applied anatomy
