Quaternityoga – Tenerife, Spain

This 22-day Yoga Alliance registered course with Quaternityoga is very intense, with practice, study, and reflection throughout the day. There are a few days of practicing meditation techniques in silence, to give total attention to your internal, meditative awareness, and to discover your own internal voice.

Quaternity teacher training is also designed to deepen your own personal yogic knowledge and practice as well as give you a strong foundation as an evolving yoga teacher. This course takes place in Mandala de Masca bears a unique and breathtaking six hectares of private mountain terrain is situated in a beautiful valley on the Canary Island of Tenerife.

Masca is best known for its natural beauty, unspoiled views, and authenticity. You can expect this retreat to cost you around €2500 including everything you will need, quite a deal.

Breath of Life Yoga – Crete, Greece

This Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher training program is designed for those people who have great spiritual interest but are unable to find a way to explore it. Once you successfully complete this 28-day course, you will feel a transformative experience in your life.

You will learn how to start teaching with confidence and helping others learn about yoga, through your own unique experience. Also, it is an opportunity to deepen your own practice. The training days are 13 hours long with breaks between classes allowing you to relax and study.

All the teachers are local with years of experience in yoga, philosophy, kinesiology, and reiki. There are two options for accommodation. For a lower price, you can stay in a retreat center a 10-minute walk from the yoga studio, or you can rent a room just above the studio. The prices will range between €3000-€4000.

Gayatri Yoga – Tenerife, Spain

Gayatri Yoga is a small school that accepts a maximum of 8 to 10 trainees in each 22-day course and is registered with Yoga Alliance. The quality of their training and the individual time they spend with their students is outstanding. This way, they are always there for their trainees and they are able to help wherever needed.

Gayatri Yoga follows the traditions and roots of all yoga styles and includes traditional Hatha and vinyasa yoga, with a very much alignment-oriented and spiritually-oriented training program. You will be accommodated in single or shared double rooms, with shared or attached bathrooms. The venue has a swimming pool, gardens, chill-out zones, a terrace, and free Wi-Fi. This retreat is based on the self-catering principle.

Gayatri Yoga provides fruits, vegetables, and all the basic foods you need, from spices to pasta, and normally, the trainees cook together. Please note that products that are not allowed in the school are meat, fish, seafood, egg, garlic, onion, coffee, alcohol, and tobacco. Price wise you can expect to pay a fair price between €2100-€2400 depending on booking a single or a shared room.

 

Bhaktivedanta College – Durbuy, Belgium

This 29-day Yoga Alliance Registered Course by Bhaktivedanta College offers a unique opportunity to train with world-renowned teacher Mahayogi Gokulacandra, one of the most advanced practitioners of asanas today. During this training program, students will learn teaching skills for individual, hands-on adjustments, and teach in a group.

The international teachers have impressive backgrounds of education and decades of experience in the field of yoga. The course is taking place in quite an extraordinary venue, the picturesque Chateau de Petite Somme castle near the city of Durbuy, locally described as “the smallest city in the world”. With its scenic, secluded environment, the campus is ideal for study, research, meditation, and reflection.

The price of this extraordinary course ranges between €2200-2950 and doesn’t include the Yoga Alliance certification fee. Although if you’re ready to invest 4 months in advance, you get a €200 discount.

Sound Method Yoga – Attica, Greece & Mallorca, Spain

This 25-day Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher training in Greece will expose you to new movements and possibilities in your practice and in your life. The modules of the course are carefully prepared by experienced teachers and divided into anatomy, safety, therapeutics, theming, and sequencing.

The venue is called Irides Luxury Apartments Hotel and is a family-run establishment that feels like home when you are there. It is a quiet retreat settled right on the gorgeous Jade and azure water of the Saronic Gulf.  Stunning views, a saltwater pool, and amazing homemade meals will be filling your days here. In your free time, you have the option to explore beaches and ruins, ancient landscapes, and charming seaside towns.

There are also opportunities to go hiking and Athens is a 1-hour ferry. The course is quite pricey, ranging between €3700-4000, depending on single or shared rooms, with or without a sea view, and even early bird discounts.  

LagoCph Italy Yoga Teacher Training Program – Tuscany, Italy

During this 21-day Yoga Alliance registered teacher training, you will learn how to initiate movement from the organ and see where some movements can be an expression or lack of support of the organs.

You will have foundational training in Thai massage as well which makes it a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the yogic lifestyle and have a deep understanding of how the human body works. The price of the course ranges between €3000-4000 and it doesn’t include the teacher training manual.

You will have to pay the full price of the course as a deposit but it’s fully refundable if you cancel at least 42 days before the start date.

Inspira Yoga Teacher Training Spain Program – Granada, Spain

 

During this 27-day Yoga Alliance registered training, you will go through mixed levels of Ashtanga yoga, Vinyasa flow, Restorative, Acro yoga, and self-practice. You will also learn, practice, and teach how to develop intention and meaning to the practice as well as develop your skills in business and ethics of yoga/qualities of a yoga instructor. 

The group of maximum of 10 participants will be accommodated at Cortijo Caseria del Mercado, a traditional Spanish country house surrounded by its own land. There is a swimming pool and different indoor and outdoor eating spaces. The self-sufficient farm has its own market garden with organic seasonal vegetables and fruit trees dotted around the land. It also has a small goat herd for milk, horses, peacocks, etc.

The price of the course is €2600-3000 – only a non-vegetarian breakfast is included! Lunch and dinner are not included, and having no shops nearby, the advertised “self-catering” might be a bit difficult. The full course fee has to be paid in advance as a deposit and it’s a non-refundable deposit!

Durga’s Tiger School – Tarifa, Spain

During this 23-day Yoga Alliance registered program, you will stay in a community that will enable you to fully immerse in the program, far away from noises and distractions. This program is crafted by combining tantra and partner yoga that will resonate with your understanding and capacity as a yoga teacher. 

If you are interested in a deep spiritual journey with lots of meditation, shamanistic and tantric rituals, and learning about the chakras and Ayurveda, this might be the course for you. You can choose the accommodation you prefer for different kinds of prices.

There are possibilities to sleep in a tent, rooms for five or six people, a yurt, double cabin, single cabin, and also double room for couples. The bathrooms available are shared. Meals are not included in the quite low price of €2100-2300 of this course.

Zoé Animal Yoga – Ischia, Italy

This 18-day Yoga Alliance registered course will be held on the famous island of Ischia, home of the Aragonese Castle. This is one of the most unique places in the world, famous since ancient times, with gardens with a Mediterranean flavour and terraces overlooking the sea overlooking the Gulf of Naples with Vesuvius volcano, the island of Procida, Capri, and the Amalfi coast. The syllabus includes the theory and practice of asana, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, and teaching methodology.

Daily breakfast is included in the total price of the training. You may have a full breakfast consisting of hot drinks, fruit juices, milk, yoghurts, cereals, bran, fresh fruits, cheese, sliced salami, bread, and some excellent homemade cakes. For lunch and dinner, you can find everything in the village below the castle.

There are bars, restaurants, markets, and bakeries nearby. Ischia has a long culinary tradition and the island’s products are healthy and genuine. This all sounds like a dream but a few reviews show that the course might feel more like a yoga holiday, although everyone seems to adore the teacher, Enrico. Reservation requires a deposit of the full course price and it’s non-refundable. Expect to pay around €2600-3000 for this intense course.

Bend it like Buddha Yoga – Algarve, Portugal

Bend it like Buddha is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School that offers a 14-day training program with double certification – 200-hour Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher certification and Ayurvedic Massage Certification. Since it’s an express 2-week course you have to expect quite a rigorous timetable with 12 hours of training every day.

The venue is located on a two-hectare garden estate villa where you can request a premium private room for an extra cost, but all rooms have their own shower and bath and look quite cozy. During the program, you will be served fresh, local, organic, and vegetarian meals three times a day. You will also be enjoying a variety of unique healing activities such as Reiki, Tibetan bowl sound healing, yoga Nidra meditation, and powerful pranayama sessions.

Price wise you can expect to pay between €2500-3150 depending on booking a shared or a private room and this price will include everything you need throughout the course. All in all this training looks like the perfect opportunity for those who are looking for a two-week course.

Rise & Shine Yoga – Ibiza, Spain

This 22-day Yoga Alliance-approved yin yoga teacher training on the beautiful island of Ibiza has a lot to offer. This training includes two modules, a Yang teacher training module, a more dynamic, active style of the module, that will enable you to teach soulful flow classes, and a Yin yoga module that will enable you to teach deeply rejuvenating meditative Yin yoga classes. And of course mindful and soulful Yin-Yang classes.
